Near is a nonprofit organization established in memory of Nir Diskin. Nir believed strongly in social justice and was passionate about promoting ideals of tolerance and acceptance. The Near Organization aims to use modern innovative educational approaches and technological tools to overcome historical prejudices and promote understanding among different sectors of Israeli society. By connecting with young students in the Israeli education system, Near seeks to develop intercultural dialogue and establish trust and mutual respect among Israel’s various cultural and ethnic groups.
